A 7-Hour Ride in a Genuine Portuguese Convertible Jeep

Discover Sintra Like a Local

A 7-hour off-road adventure in a genuine Portuguese-made convertible Jeep, capped at 7 guests, through cliffs, hidden beaches and trails the big tour buses simply can't reach.

Why It's Different

Real off-roading, not a van.

A genuine Portuguese-made convertible Jeep, built for the terrain, not a minibus with a roof rack.

Never a crowd.

Maximum 7 guests per tour. No standing in line behind 40 people for the same photo.

Routes locals actually use.

Hidden coves, cliffs and viewpoints most Sintra day-trips skip entirely, because they don't know where to look.

The tour

1 hour

1. Gather at the Station

Jump in the UMM Jeep at Cascais seafront. The city disappears once we hit the trails.

1 hour 30 min

2. Visit Pena Palace

One of Europe's most spectacular palaces above Sintra's forest. Off-road access, fewer crowds.

30 min

3. Colares Winery

The oldest active winery in Portugal. Try wines from vines that survived the phylloxera plague.

30 min

4. Azenhas do Mar

A whitewashed village on the clifftop above the Atlantic. Far fewer tourists, twice the drama.

1 hour 15 min

5. Local Lunch

Off the tourist trail, chosen by Diogo. Grilled fish, petiscos, local wine, Atlantic view.

30 min

6. Praia da Adraga

One of Portugal's wildest beaches. The Jeep gets you down trails the tour buses can't follow.

30 min

7. Taste Ginjinha

A shot of Portugal's cherry liqueur, the way locals drink it. Small moment, big memory.

1 hour

8. Cabo da Roca

The westernmost point of continental Europe. 3,000 miles of open Atlantic ocean ahead of you.

30 min

9. Back to Cascais

Coast road home, windows down. The kind of day you'll still be talking about at dinner.

Average duration: 7 hours and 15 minutes
